In nonlinear collaboration with past and future ancestors, Mojdeh unearths a vocabulary of learning and adaptation through fragments of film, installation, and embodied ritual. These stories are shared through a series of spatially layered videos and sounds that have evolved and overlapped over the course of the project.
As we are collectively called to rewrite the language of how we meet each other, this program will offer space for stillness, as well as individual reflection and processing (without interaction). If it feels right, please bring a candle, a notebook and pen, and/or whatever writing/drawing/reflection environment is best suited for you.
Mojdeh Rezaeipour is a multidisciplinary artist and storyteller based in Washington DC.
